Subject of research is increasing intellectuality, efficiency and flexibility of dataware systems on the basis of knowledge engineering methods and ontological approach to generating metadata structures for operated objects using tools of artificial intelligence (AI), visual structural approach (VSA) and domain specific languages (DSL) to improve mechanism of problem domain ontologies and automation systems ontologies intermapping basing also on object-oriented approach implementation. Theoretical and practical results are development and generalization of dataware systems creation methodology on the basis of development ontological approach to represent conceptual knowledge of problem domain, improving mechanisms of mapping problem domain ontology to automation systems concepts (such as CAD-systems) using AI, VSA and DSL tools, and also developing mechanisms of needed functionality implementation in program systems (PS) on the basis of OOP, multiagent technologies, adaptive program systems implementation technologies. Novelty is provided by development of problem domain DSL basing on ontologies of different abstraction level thus allowing operating multilevel problem domain abstractions in product design to create meta-descriptions of the object and data processing; developed methods of design and use of databases, fuzzy cognitive maps, neural-fuzzy systems, multi-agent systems based on ontology, and also a number of ontologies - educational activities of the university, severe plastic deformation, organization of database and others - have allowed to offer efficient architectural and algorithmic solutions in the implementation of the PS. Introduction efficiency consists in improvement of different problem domains dataware systems creation methodology along with representing knowledge as the following metadata structures: ontologies, visual structures based on the improvement visualization mechanisms using AI, VSA; domain-oriented programming with help of DSL, developed on the basis of corresponding ontologies, which allows to significantly increase abstraction level of solving automation tasks in different problem domains and thus increase labor productivity. Field of application-the results of work in the form of information systems design technology on the basis of knowledge engineering methods will be used in program systems development. Creation of specialized complexes consisting of multipurpose CAD-system for modeling and additional PS as well as software development on the basis of VSA, ontology and DSL for describing design object in terms of its problem domain are planned as improvements in the CAD area.
