Among them in 9 ALL cases, the leukemic stem cells (LSC) have been identified according to the expression of stem cell markers (CD34, CD38, HLA-DR) and one and/or two markers of early progenitor cells (PC) of B or T lymphopoiesis (CD22, CD19, sCD7, cytCD3). Several exceptionally rare ALL variants with blast cells expressing cytCD7, CD33, CD13 have been identified. Such finding may suggest the possibility of PC common for T cells and myelo- or monocytes.
