The aim of this work is to develop methods for the study of the microstructure and study its impact on the physical and mechanical properties of intermetallic titanium aluminide. Results and novelty: A complex method for studying of the intermetallic titanium aluminide microstructure with accounting of their texture state is developed the first time an influence of the Electro-Emiting end subsecuond zone remelting on the texture and phase composition of the alloyed TiAlNb is found. For the first time it is established, that the addition of 10-12 weight percent of Nb the titanium aluminides gives possibility to get a large percentage ofof the plastic orthorhombic phase Ti2AlNb volume fraction. For the first time it is established, thad at zone remelting an optimal regime is zeached an that promotes a formation of about 95 volume percent of the plastic orthorhombic phase Ti2AlNb.
