The aim of the study is to improve the accuracy of the geometric parameters of images of biomedical objects by creating new methods of measuring information in biomedical information systems. Dealing with the project is based on the development of methods for noise filtering adapted to suppress impulse and speckle noise characteristic of diagnostic imaging, methods of sharpening low contrast images, edge detection, segmentation and definition of geometrical parameters of the objects. Means of solving problems is computer modeling and mathematical programming. Scientific novelty is improved mathematical model of low contrast difference of intensity, first proposed mathematical model sharpening the maximum slope of the boundary curve of low contrast and blurry images, the mathematical model of impulsive noise suppression by splitting sliding window, the method of impulsive noise suppression, further development of the method of segmentation of ultrasound images biliary system, an improved method for filtering speckle noise in ultrasound images based on anisotropic diffusion and segmentation method based on threshold processing using the Otsu.
