The object - a model for sustainable development and "green" growth. The aim - to define the essence of the concept of sustainable development, economic instruments for its implementation and the brief of experience developing national strategic documents related to the "green" growth and sustainable development. Methods - a general scientific and special methods, namely: a retrospective analysis, the dialectical method, systematic approach, induction, deduction, comparative analysis, methods of synthesis and grouping. Was studied of the concepts of "green" growth and sustainable development; systematically economic instruments; study experience of the development of national strategic documents. The results of this research will be used in the preparation of informational and analytical materials, draft laws and regulations, development of proposals for strategic and policy documents, related to the economic policy of Ukraine, regarding formation of the "green" economy and providing "green" and sustainable growth, which meets the strategic interests of Ukraine.
