A study of decision-making in small businesses at the regional level in terms of risk is made. The concept of design management in a competitive environment is worked out. The mathematical models for forecasting the development of the small business, methods and algorithms for volume production, production partner choice are worked out, the possibility of incorporation of risk in dealing with economic problems. The mechanism of the formation of strategic alternatives of production for small business is developed. The economic and mathematical model of choosing optimal price for the products of the company is proposed; optimizing its financial stability; choosing efficient manufacturing enterprise resources. Powered economic and mathematical models of portfolio investment, taking into account the risk management of financial resources of the enterprise is proposed. The mathematical stochastic model of the stores, the optimization model of the level of financial security company is constructed. A proposed testing instruments to optimization of management of manufacturing activity is approbated.
