The homogeneity ranges and structure of 15 solid solutions were established. The crystal structures of 53 new compounds were identified; 8 structures among them represent new structure types. Lithium batteries from Li–B–C, Li–Si–C, Li–Ge–B, Li–Mg–Si and Li–Cu–Sb anode materials have voltage about 2.5-3.5 V and specific energy 150-260 Watt·h/kg. The most promising alloys are those of the Li–B–C system, in which the formation of carbon-like lamellar structures with larger lithium content (up to 33.3 at.%) compared with known LiC6-based electrode material (used in lithium-ion batteries) is observed. The structure investigation of cathode materials L2хZn1-хO and LixNiуZn1-уO for lithium-ion batteries was carried out. GdCo5-хМх alloys modified with p-, f-, and d-elements were developed and recommended for practical use in metal-hydride batteries. They have higher hydrogen sorption capacity (up to ~10%) and better electrochemical characteristics comparing with commercial analog LaNi5. Product Description popup.authors Дмитрів Г.С.
