Researches confirmed incomplete accordance of the state of western and north-eastern borders of Ukraine to the proclaimed course of the country for European integration. Monitoring of viza centres of EU member countries found out considerable disagreements between declarations of Kyiv and Brussels about aspiring of Ukraine and EU to introduce viza free regimen between them and real situation. Complex practical recomendations for the state and local authorities on a problem of border guard and effective methods of improvement of the border infrastructure functioning were worked out.
