The work objective is to develop the scientific bases of composite cathode materials making with low values of electron work function and high values of thermionic current density (to 1000 A/cm2) for their using in rocket-space engineering and other branch of industry. The results of obtaining and thermionic properties research of new cathode composite materials BaxSr1-xHfO3-W, ErB12, LuB2 are presented in the report. It has been achieved that for the most effective thermionic material 80 % Ba0,75Sr0,25HfO3 - 20 % W (by mass) the current density equals 1014 A/cm2 at T = 1620 K. For the first time the spectral emissivity of erbium dodecaboride single-crystals are presented. The results of improvement and making of new generators generation and Hall plasma accelerators for space and engineering purposes are presented.
