The main subject of study - wind power plant for energy conversion wind flows caused by rail during movement into electrical energy. The purpose of the work - to create a wind energy plant for converting the energy of the wind flow, which creates a train in motion, into electrical energy. Research methods - the method of experimental studies, mathematical modeling to determine the design of the module for efficient wind turbine wind energy near the tracks. There had been made the analysis of the known methods of energy wind flow generated by vehicles and analyzed prior devices for using energy wind flow generated by vehicles; also studied the dependence of the rate of air flow speed of the train and - air flow rate on the location of wind turbines. There had been developed a measuring system, which consists of sensors, data processing hardware platform and software of a computer complex and conducted its successful field trials. There had been created the mathematical models to calculate the amount of energy received from the air flow generated by the train in motion, depending on the type of train and its speed. There had been offered recommendations on how to use the energy of air flow generated by the train, and offered the definition of the optimal location of wind turbines. Projected assumptions about the development of the object of investigation - the results of research can also be used in the analysis of the aerodynamic properties of the trains. The results of the research work produced in close collaboration with structural units of Ukrainian Railways (Zhmerinskaya management of rail traffic; Vinnitsa distance path), and implemented in the educational process of the Vinnitsa National Technical University.
