The research aim - the development of sensory systems for determination of nitrates in water sources. Research method - a method of three-wave photometry. Main results - assembled and tested the individual elements of the sensor system for express analysis of nitrates in water: cell, UV light source and a 4-channel photodetector. Investigated the removal of humic substances from nitrate-containing waters in order to eliminate their negative impact on the determination of nitrate ions by three-wave photometry. It is shown that for success of this process is necessary to limit his regime operating pressure of 0.1 MPa and values the permeate conversion of 20-25%. Shown that the effect of nitrite ions on the results of the analysis can be liquidated to be converted them into nitrate ions by oxidation with hydrogen peroxide. In order to improve the concentrating of nitrate ions in the samples with a very low content by low-pressure reverse osmosis the effect impregnation of membranes with quaternary ammonium compounds was investigated. It is shown that it is advisable to use to impregnate by etonij or polyhexamethylene guanidine and concentrating should be in the range of pH 6-7. Field of application - environmental protection.
