For the first time in Ukraine the concept of the distributed system of monitoring of an ecological condition of water objects with phytoplankton inclusion is offered. A prototype of an automated biomonitoring complex for water media has been created by integration of a bioindication system based on the principle of phytoplankton fluorometry together with the set of physico-chemical sensors ant automatic sampler. A number of dedicated hardware and software components have been developed for integration of this complex into information and analytical systems. The highly sensitive photometrical unit with a PMT tube used in a photon counting mode has been designed for detecting weak light signals, for instance, the fluorescence of microalgae and hemiluminiscence of basidiomycetes. This unit has been calibrated using a modern specialized phytoplankton fluorometer as a reference. Bases of technology of the automated biomonitoring of the water environment on principles high-sensitivity in situ fluorometry a phytoplankton are put. A further analysis of seasonal dynamics of algoindicators parameters by fluorometry and spectrophotometry together with physico-chemical ones of the water medium has been performed at the points of a monitoring grid at water objects of Donetsk region, taking into account the technogenic load from industrial objects. The dynamics of the above parameters has been compared by means of correlation analysis. The database for peroxide oxidation of lipides and activity of basidiomycetes oxyreductases has been extended considering the reactions on harmful air pollutants. The results of the 3rd stage are presented in 2 monographs, 3 textbooks, 7 papers, 11 conference presentations, 3 patents, 4 claims, 2 MSc theses, 5 diploma and 10 courseworks.
