It was studied the changes of taxonomic composition of Agnatha from subclasses Heterostraci and Osteostraci during of early Podillya Devonian and Gastropoda in the Neogene of Volyno-Podillya, Pleistocene-Holocene history of Central European Equus and reconstructed historical changes of Miocene flora in Western Ukraine. It was established that the geographic and climatic factors determine the spatial differentiation of taxonomic diversity of soil biota at macro-regional level. With a decrease of regional scale studies of the impact of these factors on the overall pedobiota diversity weakened and, instead, the role of other natural factors (edaphic, biotic, historical ets.).
