Analysis of existing international, European and Russian standards in the area of powerful electricity equipment reliability was carried out. Analyzed the standards related to certification, installation and use of vibration sensors; development of vibration diagnostic equipment, methods of statistical analysis of vibration signals and construction of decision rules. The requirements for diagnostic systems of electric equipment were formulated and a table comparing standards of Ukraine and international standards in the field of electric power equipment reliability was compiled. Proposed and practically tested algorithms and software, which allows for a complete analysis of distributions of vibration diagnostic signals and perform smoothing of obtained histograms by Pearson's system of curves. The method of assessment of numerical parameters of diagnostic signals using spectral correlation and Histogram analysis of the signals measured from parts of electric equipment was proposed. Manufactured and practically tested laboratory sample of vibration diagnostics of powerful electric equipment of thermal power plant.
