There was developed the methodology of updating the list of occupations for monitoring the dynamics and factors of occupational prestige, the main trends in the level of occupational prestige are allocated. There were made three massive surveys with 5,000 specially selected participants, adult population of Ukraine and school children of 9-11th grade. There was carried out a statistical analysis of monitoring data to confirm the hypothesis of occupational prestige. There were revealed gender differences in the perception of occupational prestige by adults and school children. There was developed a guide and were conducted group interviews with pupils on professional choice in today's prestige and interaction of the professions' prestige, competition and deficit. There are developed new methodical principles of utilization of mobile multimedia technology to assess occupational prestige.
