Z., Доктор фізико-математичних наук Registration Date 18-02-2013 Organization Scientific-research department of alkali halide crystals with experimental manufacture STC "Institute for single crystals" NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 It was proved that the obtainment technology of organic composite scintillators from p-terphenyl micro single crystalline grains allows to develop sufficiently efficient detectors of prompt fission neutrons on the background of the accompanying gamma-radiation for situation of ultra-small radiation fluxes. Composite scintillators are customized for the registration conditions of prompt fission neutrons. It is shown that ability of p-terphenyl composite scintillators to division and their detection efficiency of fast neutrons makes up 80 and 50% respectively, from similar characteristics of volume single crystals. These values are correlated with the earlier obtained data for composite detectors based on stilbene. Were obtained optimal sizes of p-terphenyl grains (fraction with average size l = 1,7-2,2mm) for problems of neutrons fission registration. Product Description popup.authors Панікарська В.Д.
