It has been shown that peculiarities of the band structure caused by low energy nonparabolicity are the origin of nonlinear kinetic phenomena (plasma-electrical effect) and of the new phenomena connected with peak-like density of states ( anomalous optic absorption edge and of the inverse population and gain) in layered crystal In Se . Also it was shown that condenson state concept which is realized in this crystal can be used for the explanation of its unique dimensionless figure of merit.
