Also analyzed data on the mechanisms of self-healing populations of two groups of heterotrophic organisms - crustaceans and amphibians. The factors described the threats and prospects of self-restoration of populations in the highlands of the Ukrainian Carpathians in the present conditions of anthropogenic transformation of the environment.
