We discovered and purified lectins from the rhizomes Hemerocallis fulva, bulbs Hyacinthella аcutiloba, Hyacinthus orientalis, Gladiolus sp., fruits Cocos nucifera, Arum orientale, above-ground part of Ornithogalum ponticum, Kniphofia uvaria, leaves Sansevieria trifasciata. The lectins contents in plants, however, low and is 0.5 – 16 mg/kg fresh raw material. Iinteraction with key carbohydrates and glycoproteins for purified lectins were analyzed. Lectins from the rhizomes of Hemerocallis fulva and bulbs of Hyacinthella аcutiloba were investigational completer. According to 20 % SDS-PAGE data with SDS-Na the lectins consist with subunits of molecular weight 12 kDa. Molecular weight both lectins are 48 kDa according to gel-chromatography on Toyopearl HW-55. The lectin best of all agglutinated rabbit erythrocytes and did not agglutinated human and goat erythrocytes. Examined lectins appreciably discriminated by agglutination of erythrocytes of guinea-pig, rabbit and rat. Examined binding of 11 FITC-labelled mannose-specific lectins with the mouse leukemia cells line L-1210 and human leukemia line Jurkat. Revealed, that all of them lectins binding as with intact, so from apoptotic and necrosis cells, however binding degree is different.
