The features of the formation of structure and hardness of ceramics as a function of the initial concentrations of the substances and the temperature and pressure conditions of consolidation was reveald. It are found the conditions for the synthesis of non-equilibrium states of boron carbide B8C that can provide increased hardness of the composite.
