The theoretical value is to perform in-depth analysis and identify the key features of the transformation of value orientations of young people in the period of independent Ukraine. Also study of some valuable aspect of socialization and education of young people, in particular the characteristics of the political socialization of young people at the present stage of development of the Ukrainian state is important, as well as analysis the level of development of national consciousness of youth in independent Ukraine.
