Purpose: refine and implement a diagnostic system of primary and secondary myocardial lesions by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and multisection computed tomography (MSCT) to improve the results of conservative and surgical treatment, reduction of natural mortality and mortality from primary and secondary myocardial lesions. Methods: multisection computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging of the heart (16-slice CT scanner Sensation 16 "Siemens", Erlangen, Germany, magnetic resonance imaging scanner Avanto 1.5 T, "Siemens", Erlangen, Germany , magnetic resonance imaging scanner "Achieva" 1.5 T Philips, Holand) with intravenous contrast agent, statistics. Based on the analyzed and systematized indications for computer and magnetic resonance imaging examinations performed 561 heart studies (219 MSCT and 342 MRI) with suspected myocardial lesions and diagnosed with myocardial pathology. Using established protocols MDCT and MRI of the study for 158 (72.1%) and 254 (74.2%) patients had and refined myocardial pathology. The sensitivity of MRI in the diagnosis of CMP was 96%, specificity - 90%, accuracy 94%; in the diagnosis of myocarditis 80%, 56%, 86% respectively. Sensitivity and specificity of MDCT (16-slice) in detection of coronary artery stenosis were, 94% and 89%, respectively, the overall accuracy - 93%.
