Application of Article 4 (4) of the Construction Products Directive". This Guidance Paper is intended for regulators and enforcement authorities within the European Economic Area (EEA), for industry and notified bodies. It is aimed at the manufacturer, which has able, without waiting for revision of harmonized technical conditions, to initiate the attestation of conformity to that Directive. Powered by Article 4 (4) resolution (not to apply all or part of the current specifications) is a special case of the principle of standards voluntariness. On the other hand, Article 4 (4) does not reduce the responsibility of the manufacturers. 2 "Guidance Paper J. Transitional Arrangements under the Сonstruction Products Directive". This paper is devoted to the implementation of the provisions concerning the period during which service both national and European specifications for manufacturers placing their products on the EEA market, i.e. "the period of coexistence". Unlike most other "new approach" directives, Directive 89/106/EEC (CPD) has not clear determination of the period of transition. Instead, each European specifications (hEN, ETA), in accordance with Article 6 (2) CPD, indicate the provisions for a period of coexistence, including products that are within the scope of that specifications. Emphasized the prescribing of Guidance Paper J mainly for writers of hEN, ETA, as well as regulators and enforcement authorities, notified bodies and industry. 3 "Guidance Paper E. levels and classes in the Construction Products Directive". The paper deals with the principles, rules and procedures for implementation, processing and use of categories "levels and classes" concerning basic requirements to works and products performance. These categories are considered in the context of national provisions on the design and construction of works and on the fitness of products for their intended use. To account for possible differences in geographical and/ or climatic conditions, lifestyle, and the levels of protection that may prevail at national, regional or local level, for each of the basic requirements to works classes of parameters can be set in the harmonized technical specifications. Emphasized the prescribing of guidance paper E mainly for writers of technical specifications (hEN, ETA), as well as regulators and enforcement authorities. It takes note of the communication of the European Commission regarding the Interpretative documents to the CPD, concerning the essential requirements relating to works. 4 "Guidance Paper G. The European classification system for the reaction to fire performance of construction products". The document focused on the transition from the real dangers to the baseline scenario ("Fire in the room") and to criteria (time to general flash as guideline of behavior), coordination of large-scale test ("corner of room "), which is representative with respect to the baseline scenario of fire and statement that the actual system of Euroclasses for all construction products is established on basis of small-scale tests correlated by the method of large-scale test. Terms agreed with experts in the field of fire safety. Guidance Paper G is intended primarily for writers of harmonized technical specifications (hEN, ETA), as well as regulators and enforcement authorities. It takes into account that the arrangements for the transition from existing national classifications for fire performance to the new European systems are dealt with in Guidance Paper J.
