The use of information and communication technologies for the purpose of education was analysed. Based on these results, a degree of information provision of the Ukrainian astronomical organizations was determined, the accessible scientific databases were listed, the currently available Ukrainian e-publications containing astronomical information were analysed, and databases for astronomical science and education were listed. Besides, some methodical recommendations were developed in relation to efficient use of the information on astronomical databases during educational process. Some methodical recommendations were proposed to help pedagogic workers in employing scientific astronomical information for astronomical study at institutions of general education.
