The purpose of the inquiry is to provide for local weakening of solid grounds by pulse electrodischarge processes. To fulfill the prescribed task it was proposed to use the high-voltage electrochemical explosion (HVEE) with use of exothermal mixes initiated by an electric discharge. Experimental research of the artificial concrete blocks aided to establish the basic parameters of the HVEE: specific efficiency of chemical energy transformation, specific combustion efficiency of electrochemical mixes, field intensity of the discharge channel for oxidizing the exothermal mixes having weight to 0.022 kg, thus yielding maximum energy release during the HVEE to 500 kJ. Dependencies are established: HVEE total energy release and the electrochemical mix weight; volume of crushing and HVEE parameters and ground strength. The electrode system and the system of electrochemical mix blasting schemes. During crushing of concrete blocks it is established that the electrochemical mix efficiency with 60 % А1 are more than 25% higher than with 40% А1. Scientific relevance of the inquiry is to establish minimum losses of capacitor electrical energy supplying the warm up and oxidizing of electrochemical mixes with target energy release to 500 kJ. Obtained results may be used for making the mobile small-size equipment of local crushing of high-strength grounds, particularly for construction needs.
