Methods: micro-indentation, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, ion accelerator "Sokol". The test of the mechanical characteristics was carried out by the method of the indentation using micro-indenter "Micron-Gamma". The X-ray diffractive structural tests of samples were carried out on a DRON-3M with programs Origin 7.5 and NewProfile 3.4. Electron microscopical research was carried out on the electron-scan microscope JEOL JSM-840. The drip-free coatings tested, these coatings were obtained by compressed vacuum-arc discharge. The coatings were exposed to radiation by ions of hydrogen, helium and argon using accelerator "Sokol" to identify radiation resistance. Morphological structure of the drip-free coatings was researched using the electron-scan microscopy; these coatings are formed by vacuum-arc method by pulverization, in the compressed gas arc discharge. Data were obtained about their hardness, elastic module, crystal structure and phase composition depending on the conditions of formation and the influence on these properties of radiation by ions of hydrogen, helium and argon.
