Potebnja Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 In the result of our work over the theme "Vocabulary and phraseology of the East Slavic languages: etymological, ethnolinguistic, аccentology and derivational aspects" weighed scientific results have been achieved: a broad investigation of East Slavic languages in comparative-historical and typological aspects has been carried out, allowing making a number of theoretical generalizations, important for realization of history of the development of East Slavic languages and their interaction character with other languages, modern processes, taken place in East Slavic languages, as well as for the general linguistics. The obtained results also give an opportunity to determine more precise formation of specificity and evolution of Ukrainian, to think over the influence of different linguistic and extralinguistic factors on its history and modern state, to prepare a number of scientific-popular works for wide population layers of Ukraine. During the work over the program 3 dictionaries were published, of total number of 119 pr.p., and also 1 book of total number of 18 pr.p., 2 brochures of total number of 14 pr.p., 149 articles of total number of 88 pr.p., 75 reports were announced.
