In Ukraine for the first time the reproductive biology of tropical plants has been studied and impact of different factors on reproductive success of studied species of Asparagales order (Amaryllidaceae, Orchidaceae) under condition of ex situ conservation has been analyzed. The biotechnological propagation methods of 34 tropical plant species from 9 angiosperms families as well as ferns have been elaborated. With ISSR-PCR method of the molecular-genetic polymorphism of 10 Aglaonema commutatum (Araceae) cultivars has been accessed. The glasshouse expositions of tropical plants have been designed.
