A questionnaire was developed and electoral activity, motivation of political choice and readiness to the political participation was studied in the election campaign of 2012. The major factors influencing decision-making young voter were described. There was proven the hypothesis that the development of cognitive skills and correction of destructive stereotypes about political participation results into positive changes in the structure of the self-concept of young people. The effectiveness of the program for development of electoral decision making skills was confirmed. The program is based on the inhibition of framing, priming and anchoring processes. The programs increasing the civic responsibility and political participation of young people were approved. The efficacy of influences of the nearest environment was shown. This kind of influences is based upon the level of subjectivity of the individual.
