It was founded that the best precursors for sunflower was soybean and corn for grain. Minimization of main soil tillage in growing of the sunflower after soybean, corn and in repeated crops does not reduce the productivity of crop and total expenditures relatively to plowing. For the direct sowing was marked the shortage of harvest - after soybean 0.1 t/ha, corn - 0.17 t/ha, sunflower - 0.32 t/ha, of winter wheat - 1.44 t/ha, while the material and financial resources reduced to 4416-4786 UAH/ha. Mulching of the soil surface provided the increasing of yield by 0.40 t/ha, and with the introduction of nitrogen fertilizers - by 0.48 t/ha. Higher conditionally net profit was after the predecessor of soybean and for plowing was 8123 UAH/ha after the shallow tillage - 8062 UAH/ha and direct sowing - 7804 UAH/ ha with the level of profitability of 160-164 %, and the least - after winter wheat under direct sowing, which was 633 UAH/ha with the profitability of 14 %.
