The significance of the results lies in the perspective of their use for writing books, dissertations on individual style and practical significance of the work is to use its observations in preparing innovative dictionary of the Ukrainian language in courses teaching vocabulary in the curriculum of the Ukrainian language in teaching section "Stylistics" and linguistic analysis of literary texts, some of its provisions may serve to further lexical, stylistic, linguistic and poetical research, its results can be used in teaching the course of speech and making recommendations. The aim - to find out the current status of the Ukrainian language stylistic position of imposing on new functional units of language and expressive connotations, to separate stylistic phenomena as belonging to their lexical, grammatical and others units, to isolate the actual stylistic semantics in the structure of these units. To achieve the goal set the following objectives: 1) to identify stylistically marked structure against neutral means of thought in different styles of modern Ukrainian language; 2) stylistically to qualify vocabulary in dictionaries; 3) to determine the qualifications of stylistic values of language structures in different styles; 4) to compare the texts of the twentieth and twenty-first century, to interpret the findings; 5) to describe the pragmatic aspect of functional styles of the modern Ukrainian language; 6) to analyze the principles of combining, instructions, constructs, according to which the texts are organized; 7) to organize stylistic phenomenon; 8) to identify the weaknesses of multilevel style and to complement them with new practices. - The object of study: the current state of stylistic Ukrainian language: normalized and unprintable language; phenomena of purism, innovative processes in the Ukrainian language; language portraits of Ukrainian writers, language media, and scientific texts. - The subject of research: stylistic phenomenon of the Ukrainian language structures for heuristic value stylistic research. A study by an integrated, holistic analysis of the functioning stylistically reduced vocabulary in Contemporary Ukrainian periodicals on the material in different socio-ideological and thematic focus. Found that treatment with the functional identity of newspaper and journalistic style nowadays is relevant in connection with the dramatic increase in this period use stylistically reduced vocabulary in the language of Ukrainian newspapers and insufficient study of the functioning stylistically reduced vocabulary of modern Ukrainian language. Analysis of language features and extralinguistic conditionality journalistic style, the sources of the formation and replenishment stylistically reduced vocabulary in the language of modern Ukrainian journalism. The basic processes inherent individual style of modern prose and poetry, some properties of the language of contemporary postmodern prose are analyzed. The comparative analysis of phraseology in Russian, Belarusian and Ukrainian languages is made.
