The HTP of Z-3-(arylmethylene)-mentanes are about twice higher than for Z-isomers. The proposed 3-(arylmethylene)-mentanes are non-sensitive to sun-light action; the E-Z-photoisomerisation occurs upon irradiation lower than 330 nm only.
