Films contained amorphous phase Al2O3 according XRD data. By AFM methods it was revealed that the films had a wedge shape with sizes from 450 - 500 to ~ 100 nm at 12 mm length. Waveguide structure formed on the basis of these films were studied using total internal reflection in Krechmana's geometry. Approximation of experimental angular dependence of reflection allowed to determine that the effective refractive index value was in the range of neff = 1.38 - 1.65 and decreased with increase films porosity , and effective absorption coefficient were keff = 0.003 - 0.04. The possibility for achieving of considerable sensitivity of por-Al2O3 films formed by pulsed laser deposition under inert atmosphere to gaseous analytes was shown.5481 Product Description popup.authors Болтовець П.М.
