Babak, Registration Date 24-01-2013 Organization Government institution "L.T. Malaya Therapy Institute National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" popup.description2 348 patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease were enrolled to this research. Research methods and equipment: general clinical and anthropometric examination, abdomen ultrasonography, CT scan, measurement of adiponectin concentration, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, liver function tests, genetic methods for determining the allele distribution and genetic polymorphism of rs 666089 ADIPOR1 gene. Main phenotypic characteristics of the disease and the distribution of alleles and genotypes of polymorphic gene rs 666,089 ADIPOR1 were studied in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and metabolic syndrome. It was found that the leading role in the mechanisms of fatty liver is given to insulin resistance syndrome, based on the excessive growth of visceral adipose tissue and abdominal type of obesity, which significantly influences on genetic factors, namely the presence of allele G in polymorphic gene ADIPOR1. It was found that in patients with GG genotype compared to carriers of GA and AA genotypes there is significantly higher concentrations of total cholesterol, triglycerides, fasting glucose, HOMA-IR, AST, ALT, GGT,% body fat in the liver and lower adiponectin. The algorithms of early detection and prevention of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease in the metabolic syndrome were designed. Product Description popup.authors Бабак О.Я. Карікова Н.І.
