According to the law of Ukraine "About objects of increased danger" such technological processes must be equipped with accident protection systems. Unusual situations are caused by non project malfunctions and malfunctions, caused by human factor. So further we will talk about modeling of malfunctions and not about modeling unusual situations. The aim of scientific work is development og new diagnostics models of non project malfunctions basing on their use on hydro accumulating power plants (HAPP). Diagnostics objects in that case will be for example dams of HAPP which are subject to external factors. Such factors are: level of water in reservoir (water pressure); level of waves on surface; water pressure caused by flows in water and on its surface. The above factors depend on external impacts, such as: changes of atmosphere pressure; wind speed on reservoir surface; precipitation. In the framework of this work will be developed following parts of model of detection of non project malfunctions: model of current state of part of reservoir which is close to diagnostics object, which allows analyzing the level of influence of reservoir on dam, model describing current technical state of the dam basing on such characteristics as: number, types and state of surface and other defects; current wear of construction elements, determined basing on existing wear models such as cyclic load model. Basing on analysis of data of those two models will be solved task of prediction of appearance of non project emergency situations. Creation of models of diagnostics of malfunctions, caused by human factor basing on example of management of power object is in implementation of control of management actions, made by staff according to their manuals. If those actions are illegal from the point of view of the manual then model analyzes them from the point of view of current state of the object. During that the action is not blocked, but is checked from the point of view of current state of the object and possible change of the state with the aim of to predict emergency situation.
