That is why, every state should "take over" the problem of climate change and to start with providing adequate legal and regulatory framework. The aim is to determine the impact projects directed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions implemented in the relevant sectors of the data and information which is displayed in the national inventory. To achieve this objective, we formed the following objectives: to investigate the international and Ukrainian legislative and regulatory framework in relation to projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and develop a national inventory of emissions and removals of greenhouse gases, to analyze the joint projects that are registered in Nationalekoinvestagency in terms of their possible interactions with the national inventory of emissions and removals of greenhouse gases, to investigate the methodological basis for the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions and determine the causes of the differences between the national inventory and projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
