The object of research is a social infra-structure and economy complex of the Stanichno-Luganskiy Region. The goal of the work is a determination of goals, tasks, priorities and directions of economical and social development of the Stanichno-Luganskiy Region up to 2020 with account for needs of and interests of inhabitants of the Region. The subject of the research are component indexes of social-economical state: level of living of the people, social behavior, ecological state, labour matrket, economy complex, availability of resources. It had been determined that a strategic goal of the development of the Region should be lifting of level and quality of living and social provision of the population.
