For getting such a configuration, one of 16th toroidal coils was disconnected from the power supplying system. Measurements were carried out in two poloidal cross sections along the torus, and an acceptable agreement was found with computer modeling results. - The whole complex of the heavy ion beam probe diagnostics was installed in the Uragan-2M device and was combined with the device vacuum system. The procedure of measurements of plasma parameters was worked out. - When providing development testing, the measured parameters of a primary ion beam for beam-optical diagnostics were found close to calculated ones.
