Reviewed and technical solutions to address the negative impact of carbonate inclusions in clays. Laboratory investigations of modifier additives and their conditions of administration in the process. The effect of selected impurities with a variation of process parameters firing of experimental samples to eliminate the defects of face brick. Organized production of pilot batches of bricks by using the most effective additives, modifiers. The recommendations are given on how to improve the performance of modifiers and conditions of their introduction to the process of manufacture of face brick.
