In apatite from metamorphic rocks OH groups are located in the structural clusters OH - OH (OH group (1)) and F - OH - F - F (OH group (2)) , the atoms of F - in the structural fragments FI - FI - FI (atoms of F (1)) and FI - OH - FII (atoms of F (2)) . It was shown that in the apatite from amphibolite and gneiss columns or clusters of atoms F1 and structural fragments OH (1) and OH (2) are dominated. For apatite from metasomatites characteristic structural fragments OH (2) , fragments OH (1) do not appear in appreciable amounts. In apatites from metamorphic rocks water is present in the gas-liquid inclusions (H2Oinc). The characteristic feature of metasomatic apatite is the presence of water molecules fixed in the structure (H2Ostr) .
