Subject of research - processes that are by operation of lifting-and-shifting machines. Goal of research consists in developing of the methods of estimation and ensuring of durability and reliability of certain units and parts of hoisting machines. The methods of research. The analytical and numerical methods with using PC and method of mathematical planning an experiment for solution of objectives are used. Originality of research consists in: the new methods of calculation of contact stress in compression zone were suggested; contact reliability of the drag conveyors gears by method of the method of statistical testing is researched; the design of rope damper and patent documentation at the rope damper of mine winder are developed; the dynamic model of rope oscillation with using a damper is developed; the influence of dynamic loads at the operating conditions of the boom mobile cranes is researched; the measures for decreasing of dynamic loads by lift motion of load with boom mobile cranes are developed; operability of parts of the crane wheel axle-boxes with different methods is evaluated; the method of diagnosis of bearings in the axle-boxes is developed; the calculation of dipper and shovel boom of front shovel excavator, the calculation of dipper and shovel boom of back shovel excavator, the calculation of forcing frame of bulldozer are done; the theoretical and experimental researches of pneumohydraulic buffers are done; the conclusions and tips about operation of pneumohydraulic buffers are developed. Theoretical amount of research: the new methods of calculation of parts of lifting-and-shifting machines at local pressing are suggested; improved calculation for durability of metal construction elements of road machine of beam and frame type is received; the impact force that crane has by collision with end stops is theoretically researched; the dynamic safety factors of ropes of cage hoists by different modes of operation are researched; the equations that subscribes operation of developed pneumohydraulic buffer are received. Practical value of research consists in: developing of new method of calculation of rope drums; increasing of reliability and durability of gear assemblies of mining drag conveyors; increasing of techno-economic performances of boom mobile cranes; increasing of reliability of operation of axle-box of crane wheels; increasing of safety of operation of hoist cranes by pneumohydraulic buffers.
