The possibility of the temperature control of interlayer exchange interaction in this structure hase been demonstrated experimentally. When going through the Curie point of the diluted alloy Ni40Cu60 under influence of a small applied magnetic field Hb the magnetic moments of the layers Ni80Fe20 and Co90Fe10 arranged antiparallel due to the disappearance of the direct ferromagnetic exchange between the layers. The magnetic moment of the multilayer structure thus tends to zero. Мultilayer structure Ni80Fe20(10 nm)/Ni40Cu60(6 nm)/Co90Fe10(5 nm)/Mn80Ir20 (12 nm) can form the base for a variety of novel magnetic devices based on spin-thermo-electronic switching.
