Informational basis of the project is the data of marine costal zone hydrometeorological observations carried out by network of stations of Hydrometeorological service of Ukraine. The sources of global climatic data are datasets of global re-analysis of atmosphere patterns NCEP/NCAR (1948-2011) and sea surface temperatures ERSST (Extended Reconstructed Sea Surface Temperature) v.3 for the period 1854-2011, presented in the standard international NetCDF format of storage and exchange of gridded data. The main project-users are professional oceanologists of Hydrometeorological service and research workers of research organizations, which activity deals with studying of hydro- and atmosphere and the questions of interaction between the components of the climatic system and climate change.
