Work was carried out with the installation documents for the new EU Framework programme "Horizon 2020" in the field of natural, technical, social sciences and humanities. Information booklets on the possibilities, characteristics and priorities of the new programme were prepared and published; the analysis of preliminary work programmes of 2014 calls was conducted. Several seminars, related to different aspects of European Framework programmes, were held. Database of potential participants of international scientific projects was created. The novelty and the importance of this activity for Ukraine is that for the first time, with the support of State structures, active involvement of national scientists to participate in collaborative research projects funded by the EU has been executed.
