An aim of work is development of methods of synthesis of indolizines, tetrahydrobenzothienopyrido[2,1 -a]isoindoles, tetrahydrobenzofuropyrido[2,1 -a]isoindoles, using a domino reaction and isoquinolines containing tertiary (bridgehead) a nitrogen atom. A general way of constructon of 1-(2-carboxyphenyl)-benzothieno[2,3-c]pyridines by domino reactions, which proceed in the cyclization of 2- (3-oxo-4-phenylmercaptobutyl)-1,3-izoindolindiones in polyphosphoric acid are proposed.
