Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of using selective samples of various forms of ripeness lyadventsa cattle, which are characterized by high forage and seed production, are able to give at least three cuttings for hay-use and will later be used to create a new drought-resistant varieties adapted to the conditions of the steppe zone of Ukraine. The study of the best families of different forms of ripeness lyadventsa cattle in nursery trials of the 2nd and 3rd years of research. In nursery trials Families, 2-year study of the family's best late-horned forms lyadventsa got yield of green mass of 37.9 - 77.8% more than the standard, and the hay yield of 24.2 - 72.7% more. Among the best forms of late-model family selection for the number 96/1 exceeded the standard Lotus by 48.4 - 77.8%, for the selection of the sample number 244/3 of 22 - 37.9%, and the selection of the sample 286/3 - 29 - 66% yield of green mass. Among middle-forms best family had an advantage over the control on the yield of green mass of 26 - 46%, and the hay yield of 39.5 - 55.3%. In nursery trials Families, 2-year study of family forms of early maturing best selection numbers exceeded the standard of 30.3 - 43.4% in yield of green mass, and on the hay yield of 25.6 - 39.5%. In the nursery, the third year of research the best forms of the family of late-topped control on food productivity by 65 - 97%, middle-forms on 34.8 - 97.7% and early maturing forms of 37.8 - 86%. Created varietal sample 244/13 on the rear control performance exceeded by 0.33 kg/m2 in the competitive variety trials (1st year of life).
