Purpose - multidimensional analysis of diversity of linguistic forms that create a theoretical framework as a precondition for the practical description of the linguistic parameters of literary discourse of Russian writers of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. In the researchings of authors was used the following research methods: linguo analysis, semantic analysis of linguistic units on the basis of cultural and monolingual dictionaries, modern cognitive methods, including the method of conceptual analysis, etc. - as part of contemporary discourse analysis. Results. Within the scientific topic developed by the Department of Russian Philology during 2010-2012 the series of urgent problems of the theory of literary discourse were investigated, namely the problem of balance of artistic discourse as a subject of study of the key concepts of cognitive linguistics, such as "language conception of the world", "concept", "conceptual metaphor", the problem of representation of universal key to a nation's cultural concepts in literary discourse, the problem of operation of idioms in fiction, the problem of the author's punctuation as one of the elements of writer’s idiostyle, as well as the dependence of actual division of complex sentence originality of literary discourse, especially the reproduction of individual conceptions of the world of Ukrainian and Russian poets of the early twentieth century, the role of the autobiography factor in idiostyle, the problem of cognitive dominants of idiostyle of authors of Classical and Post-classical era (Gogol, Andrei Bely, Anatoly Marienhof).
