The purpose of the work - to investigate process of transpassive iron dissolution in alkaline media, to develop express and reliable techniques of ferrate-anion determination, to make pilot device for ferrate synthesis and to test it in air cleaning from harmful substances regime. Methods of researches: calculated (thermodynamics and statisticals), experimental (spectrophotometry, voltammetry, potentiometry, amperometry, spectroscopy electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and nuclear magnetic resonance on hydrogen-1 nucleus (NMR 1H)). On base of detailed investigation transpassive iron dissolution in alkaline ferrate electrochemical synthesis technology was developed and practical recommendation for rational choice of electrode material and carrying out continious electrolysis in optimal regime provided for maximum effectiveness of obtaining Fe(VI) compounds process. New effective ferrate-anion titration determination techniques (potentiometric and amperometric) exceeded in metrological characteristic generally used chromite method were developed. Pilot device for harmful gases evenomation with sodium ferrate(VI) solutions were developed. Usage area - С 20.13 production of another basic inorganic chemical compounds.
