Nonspecific opioid receptor antagonist nalakson showed no effect on BigDyn-induced changes in the conductivity of the membrane, indicating that opioid receptors are not mediated nature of the induced changes. At the same time, donorfiny A and B which are structural components BigDyn (at a concentration of 1 mM / L) did not show the ability to cause a change in conductivity. Thus, in addition to the canonical opioid receptor mediated mechanisms are responsible for BigDyn alternative signaling pathway which is based on the direct interaction of opioid neuropeptides with the plasma membrane.
