The restaurant car is intended for operation on railways with a gauge of 1520 mm. Object of work - conformity assessment of parameters values, obtained during carrying out the complex of scientific-research studies of strength and dynamic characteristics of the prototype model to the requirements of normative documents, design and technical documentation. Results of the following experimental studies are given in the report: -static tests for longitudinal load and repair load strength of the prototype model; -on determination of riding strength characteristics of the prototype model; -tests for determination of vibration and the first natural frequency of the car body flexural vibration of the prototype model; - wheel weighing of the prototype model. Research work results are used when taking a decision about launching restaurant car into manufacture. Forecasting assumption - mastering the production of the restaurant car on locomotive traction model 61-779 will improve the quality of Ukrainian railway services.
